FOOD AND BEVERAGE The restaurant is situated in a separate section away from the main bar, with a non-smoking area. It has the feel of a rustic country hostelry, with oak beams and a relaxed atmosphere. The generous portions of traditional and modern meals are always prepared to the highest standards with a keen eye on value for money. Added to this is a fine wine list.
The bar at The Shoes is a picture of Old World charm, with beamed ceilings and a bar counter of solid oak which boasts a fine selection of real ales including: Greene King IPA, Courage Best, Theakstons XB, Courage Directors and usually a couple of guest ales. There is also a selection of lagers, Guinness and cider.
