The elegant lounge and cocktail bar provides the perfect meeting place and somewhere to relax before dining in the splendid Roman Room Restaurant, which offers a selection of international cuisine, complemented by carefully selected wines from around the world and served by friendly and professional staff. The Lifestyle Health & Leisure Club is complimentary to residents during their stay and facilities include a 15-metre indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms, fully air-conditioned gymnasium and 2 outdoor tennis courts. Beauty treatments are available by appointment and for an additional charge. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.

TRAVEL INFORMATION
From London:
- Take the M25 exit at junction 28 (A12), signposted Chelmsford.
- You are now on the A12. Continue for approximately 34 miles and take the exit for the A120, signposted Bishops Stortford.
- At the roundabout take the 3rd turning signposted for Stanway.
- Follow the road over the A12 and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit. The entrance to the hotel is 200 yards on your left.
From Ipswich:
- Take the A14 then the A12 interchange for Colchester (19 miles).
- Take the A120 junction, signposted Marks Tey and Bishops Stortford.
- Exit onto the slip road and take the 1st turning exit at the roundabout. The entrance to the hotel is 200 yards on your left.
From Harwich:
- Follow the signs for the (A12), A120.
- Continue along the A120 then take the junction for the A12, signposted Chelmsford/London.
- Continue until you reach the A120, signposted Marks Tey and Bishops Stortford.
- Exit onto the slip road and take the 1st exit at the roundabout. The entrance to the hotel is 200 yards on your left.
From Stansted:
- At the junction A120/M11, Birchanger Green Service Area, take the 1st exit at the roundabout for Colchester.
- Continue along the A120 following signs for Colchester.
- After about 22 miles you will enter Marks Tey. Continue over a railway bridge and take the 2nd exit at the roundabout.
- Follow the road over the A12 and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit. The entrance to the hotel is 200 yards on your left.

Payment is not due until your departure when your credit card will be charged by the hotel.
Children up to 16 years of age can stay free of charge when sharing the room with accompanying adults. This does not include the cost of meals which are charged as taken. Please note that these children's discounts are not applicable over the Christmas 3-day house party offer. Children will be charged at full price for the one night New Year house party offer.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult for access to the Lifestyle Health and Leisure Club. Children are allowed from Monday to Friday between the hours of 07:00 and 09:00; 11:00 and 15:00; 16:00 and 21:00; and on Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00 to 21:00.
Please note that extra beds are not available for adults.
