London Bridge Hotel, (138 rooms) description: The independently owned, 4 star London Bridge Hotel is a contemporary yet comfortable place to stay. It is in an ideal location on the edge of the City of London.
The hotel site has a heritage which dates back to Roman Britain when the area was already at the centre of links with Europe - both in commerce and communications. The hotel has 138 air conditioned bedrooms with a range of facilities which make this an attractive choice for business as well as leisure guests. All rooms have been refurbished in a contemporary yet comfortable style and have a large flat screen television, radio, high speed internet access, voicemail, a DDI line, fibre optic reading lights, duvet, mini-bar, hairdryer, trouser press, iron and board, large safe and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel provides five conference rooms for meetings or private dining for 8-100 people. All are available with the latest audio-visual equipment, high speed internet and ISDN lines for video conferencing. The hotel's Londinium restaurant with its contemporary design, blended with red suede furnishings and rich brown walnut floors is open for dinner, serving a variety of British and Mediterranean dishes from 5.30pm which is perfect for that pre theatre meal. Londinium is also open daily for breakfast. Georgetown restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner and offers the varied cuisines of the Malaysian Malays, Chinese Mandarin and Tamil Indians all under one roof. Adjacent to the hotel is the stylish Borough Bar, which provides a more informal ambiance for wining and dining.
